I'm Gonna Be A First-Time Dad: The Expectant Father's Guide to 9 Months of Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond. How to Prepare for Fatherhood with Complete Confidence
Hi! I'm a husband and father of three. I love helping other families raise their children the best way possible, along with a few laughs along the way! Currently we live in Wisconsin with our golden retriever.
This is a book for a man to follow his mate's 9 months of pregnancy and a few months beyond. Helping him to be prepared and aware of the role he can play in being supportive of both Mom and baby.
First-time dad's and mom's.
Book cover type
I am attaching what was my previous book for the front and back (blue and orange one). I like the theme that the wife is excited and the man is nervous. I got some male feedback though that it was a bit too feminine. Also, the person who made this cover for me, it was pixelated unfortunately. The couple and their thought bubbles are too small as well. I like the cartoon style though, if you could keep with it being a cartoon but more rugged. I'm also attaching the number one book in this niche, I want something in this context as well. You will see that they are similar. Please go with this theme but go with something original. I want it to pop and to be obvious from the small thumbnail it will be when scrolling on Amazon. Thanks so much!
What to avoid
Please avoid real pictures, I've seen that this tends to look cheap. Try not to be too sentimental with the man and woman. I want the man to be nervous and the woman to be oblivious to how scared he is (as will be shown in the two examples). I want there to be a more rugged feel to this as well. I'm attaching the link of the most popular of the books and you can do your own research. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=first+time+dad&i=stripbooks&ref=nb_sb_noss
