The Blesser and the Charred Medallion
A. L. Schank
A.L. Schank, a Hoosier born and raised, has always had a love for writing and creating. Along with her passion for writing stories, she is motivated to include the words of God, in a subtle way, in all of her works as a way of giving glory to her Savior.
For centuries, the Blessers have served the Dires of Vaska loyally using their hypnotist powers. But since the disappearance of the dire’s betrothed, Dire Saulder has become a tyrant so cruel that not even his brother can stomach him. After Dire Saulder one day takes things too far, his brother, Prince Sova, rises against him, only to be forced out of the only home he knows. In exile, he comes across a brave-hearted rebel, a tavern fighter, and a haunted shepherdess, all with the same goal in mind—destroy Dire Saulder. On their journey, the band of exiles encounters a flying wolf monster and its master—a sarcastic hypnotist with an all too familiar face. Together, they pursue the Cliffs of Era in hopes of finding allies to liberate the Valley of Lykos, unaware of the horrible curse the Blesser has cast upon them.

Book cover type
I'd prefer purple for the overall tone of the book, with a black outline of a person overlooking a beautiful landscape. I don't object to stock imagery though I'd prefer the cover to be an illustration. I also do not object to you creating something that goes against my desired design, the more creative the better, though it should be considered the cover that covers the criteria would be more likely to be chosen. Lastly, the book covers five main characters, one in which wears a gold medallion (see references)
What to avoid
I am looking for a very stunning fantasy-esque design. Plain and simple will be less likely to be chosen.

And then… they selected a winner!
I'm in awe at the front cover image, which totally encompasses my desires and reflects the novel I've written. The spine and back wrapped around for continuity--also very visually pleasing. The colors go together and are well balanced, the overall design super attractive. I can't say enough good things about the level of service provided here. SusanArt surpassed my expectations and maintained a caring, friendly attitude while doing so. A true partner, but there's no doubt, this artist could have done the cover alone.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
