Genomics and innovative induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) modelling to improve understanding of pathomechanisms underlying Brugada syndrome (BrS)
Expert in induced pluripotent stem cells I am a passionate researcher, who for the past eight years was mastering the art of iPSC culture and their use in disease modelling. I truly enjoy showing this world to others which pushes me to look at problems from different angles. I believe nothing is impossible and I am implementing this mindset in every day's search for the best possible solutions.
My book is a PhD thesis concerning the scientific research of the novel genetic variants that explain the development of cardiac arrhythmia - Brugada syndrome, and testing of their involvement in the disease through functional tests on induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) which were used to generate cardiomyocytes (iPSC-CMs) for electrophysiological analysis. When I talk about my work, people always imagine those: DNA, RNA, stem cells, cell culture, petri dish, biotechnology, microscopes, gene manipulation.
Scientists who are interested in medical genetics, cell modelling of cardiac arrhythmias, or cardiologists.
Book cover type
I am looking for a catchy cover, which points out my research area (cardiac arrhythmia, DNA, and stem cell modelling) with clean, soft font styles. Mood: positive, curious, inspiring. The cover dimensions after printing are 17cm wide and 24cm long.
What to avoid
No stock images, no fonts which need to be purchased.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
contacNS collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
I had no problems in communication with QUINTA DESIGN. All adjustments were done very efficiently: quickly but professionally, and always with a few additional ideas to choose from. The final design was my favorite from the beginning. It followed my brief and represented exactly what I asked for - catchy, clean, and not-so-serious cover. Overall, working with QUINTA DESIGN was a very good experience.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
