Check out kathyh.boucher's Book cover contest…
The book Nine Ways to Empower Tweens with Emma and Elliot is a book that teaches kids 10-12 life skills. I have sent an outline of each chapter. Its target audience is kids aged 10-12 and the parents, teachers, grandparents and caregivers of those children. This book will help kids for generations to come!
What's your vision?
I had a cover made and I am not sure it is the best cover for the book. You can find the cover on the review done by Red City Reviews for unpublished books. Feel free to be creative. I have enclosed some of the illustrations of the book so you can get a feel for the book. Author-Kathleen Boucher Illustrator: Timothy Tsang Title of the book- Nine Ways to Empower Tweens with Emma and Elliot Subtitle: You learn more from your mistakes than from all of your successes
I would like the picture of Emma and Elliot to be on the front cover and have the cover appeal to kids reading it but also the entice the parents, teachers and grandparents who purchase it. I have included some illustrations of the book to give you a feel of what will be inside it. Also here is a review that Red City Review did of the book. I think the cover can be improved. http://redcityreview.com/reviews/nine-ways-to-empower-tweens-with-emma-and-elliot-by-kathleen-boucher/

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
kathyh.boucher collaborated with designers to refine their ideas

And then… they selected a winner!
The winning design exceeded my expectations!! The amount of designs submitted was amazing and the ability to go back and forth and communicate with each designer and give feed back was also incredible. The only downside to this entire process (and it was overall amazing) was I think designers could see each others work and some were clearly "copying" each others work. Others only offered one design and just variants of that same theme over and over. But others were amazing and would come up with completely different ideas and kept working really hard to get my attention and be a finalist. I would use this service or recommend 99d again! Aaniyah as a designer was simply amazing. Her work was incredibly forward thinking, she offered many different ideas, was quick to reply to questions or comments. She really understood what I wanted and took the vision in a direction really no one else did.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
