S G KING
Technical/academic/professional background, worked within IT/business in different roles. Interest in the workings of the mind, physical and psychological.
Sci-fi, near future (circa 2045), techno thriller A cyber-analyst (shrink for robots) consultant/contractor working with NYPD forensics upon a seemingly straight forward case is caught up in something much deeper and dangerous, involving two opposing and powerful factions. Both are nightmarish, but for different reasons. One has philosophy and goals based around hard tech (merging man and machine/loss of identity), the other is driven by individuality (inc. extreme bodymod). The 'hero' is framed for murder, hunted and subjected to mind shattering revelations.
All adults who enjoy sci-fi, thrillers, elements of horror
Would like night view of future cityscape/megalopolis as background. Date: circa 2045 - so not too futuristic. NY recognisable is nice to have but not a must (if not, then must not be recognisable city elsewhere). And/or: night view, street view - with city background. Must include a particular, distinct skyscraper (mile high, vast footprint - dominates others) - distinct architecture - see files for description - see collage pictures. Must include main character: male, 35. If close-up then exotic tattoos on face (limited to running down temples) and across chest (if bare chested - see pics) - I like idea of confusion / disturbed / screaming (head beginning to fragment - from back - subtly) - see files for description - see collage pics for example - see Adobe stock preview for screaming man 213070690 (I like this - can we use stock picture?) Must include secondary character female robot. If close up should be non threatening, possibly vulnerable. Must have attributes that make it human - but unmistakably robot - see sample files. Would like the scene to imply action - not static. May include a neon archway (entrance to underground commune of bodymod culture) - I like this idea - see collage pics. See attached descriptive text files (for this and other ideas). And see below for related action. May include a background image (may be semi-transparent) of a 'lizard woman' (face/eyes watching/influencing events) - see sample collage pics OR background image of threatening generic robot - see collage pics. May include figures of main chars (man and female robot) running towards neon arch (sanctuary) Possibly include police hover bike with main character (and female robot holding on to him) fleeing scene, evading capture.
What to avoid
Too much detail (given all possibilities above)/ too retro / too noir (this is not noir crime fiction)
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
sgkcompserve collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
