Eye-catching YA book cover - Teen/young adult book

Sienna and Cassidy attend the same school, but they cannot stand to be near each other. When a tragic bus crash brings them together as spirits, the teens learn there are no accidents.
Primarily females 14+ years of age
An eye catching and memorable cover design for a YA paranormal/fantasy novella about teen spirits (drama). The cover should stand out among all the thumbnails of book covers people scroll through when browsing. The book touches on mature and emotional subject matter but with some humor and teen romance (14+ appropriate). Ideally, clouds would be included in the cover because much of the setting is among the clouds. During the day, the clouds shimmer in white under a blue sky and at night they turn galactic in vivid shades of turquoise, purple and pink under a black sky with racing stars. I am open to bright or pastel colors for the clouds since both are in the book. Need to be careful not to portray the cover as sci-fi. The cover should have a paranormal or fantasy feel but not sci-fi. I am open to black, white, silver, or gold for the title: Spirited. I will eventually need marketing materials for this series as well. Will use the final image for print on demand through Amazon so I need a file that will work for the 5x8 novella sized book too.
What to avoid
Avoid a science-fiction looking cover and anything too juvenile.
