Mike grew up in Columbus, Ohio, served as a pilot in the United States Air Force, and spent over 40 years wit ha career in marketing. He published Choosing To Be Gay in 2020, with a cover designed by a 99design creative. For the past 16 years mIke has divided time living in Texas and Thailand.
Per the book's subtitle, the book is about "The Fast Times and Fleeting Fames in Gay Bangkok's Boy Soi." It's a combination of humorous and sometimes moving anecdotes and real life experiences with the "rainbow boys" of Bangkok's most famous gay scene.
LGBTQ audience; but also anyone interested in Thailand, Bangkok; and anyone with gay family or friends.
