Salam Stores is one of Qatar’s iconic shopping department store destination, established in 1952. Since its inception, the store has expanded its portfolio in multiple lifestyle retailer in fashion for kids, women, men, beauty, photography, travel and homeware. The expansion of Salam Stores span across its flagship store in The Gate Mall, an impressive emporium in Mall of Qatar and a children’s concept store KIDO in Doha Festival City. The department store is going through an exciting rebranding to introduce various concept stores. Salam Stores is going through an exciting rebranding to introduce various concept stores to enhance shopper’s experience and sell the idea of a particular lifestyle to a specific target audience. CONCRETE is one of the concept stores that will be introduced. It is an active lifestyle brand that introduces performance wear brands for men and women. Concrete understands that activewear is no longer reserved for working out, rather integrated into customer’s day to day life. It will cater to the strong, indestructible, focused, and people that pushes boundaries in pursuit to being the best version of themselves. CONCRETE concept store knows that fitness is lifestyle. It will introduce brands that can help optimize customers’ lives – in and out of the gym. It strives to bring innovation, performance, and style in performance wear. CONCRETE will introduce new performance wear brands to the Qatar market and also bring notable brands such as Lululemon, Ultracor, and much more. AUDIENCE: Health-Conscious audience, athletes, and athleisure-lovers LOGOTYPE: Woodmark. REQUIREMENTS: logo should be adopted and fit within the retail space. Use rendering to create mock-up.
LOGOTYPE: LETTERMARK Logo should reflect in different sizes and mediums and should be adapted on retail signage, shopping bags, clothing packaging, digital (website and social media), and staff uniforms Logo should be suited well within the concept store interior design (see attached store renders) Typography should be smooth and not strong. We dont want to logo to look like a gym facility, but more of a lifestyle brand.
