Cuppa Book, is a bookstore with a coffeeshop in Lake Tahoe. It would be important to have a cup, a book and ideally the Lake of Tahoe in the logo. We serve tea, coffee, wine, pastries, desserts, ice-cream in summer and sell books. I'm looking for a design that clearly expresses the book and coffee part. The target market is locals who live in town, but also tourists who drive by, and will clearly understand from the logo what we are. I would like to have a mix of style of modern, and traditional in there, maybe slightly whimsical. I liked the color blue, because it would express the color of the lake (but am open to suggestions)
Ideally I was thinking of a cup with saucer, with inside the cup, a book. I was wondering how to combine this with the shape of the lake, which could maybe be the steam coming off the cup, but wasn't to sure about the last part.

Overall I like the design. She needs to improve on fine details and ask questions on technical details on what my business actually does. I sent many pictures and none of it was incorporated into the Logo. She focused on the letters of the company rather that the images I uploaded. I think it would have been better not to go thru the web site. The web site makes it difficult to communicate
