mnazaret got their new illustration or graphics by running a design contest:
Design illustration/graphic for social science publication/presentation

Colin Camerer's group is interested in how psychological forces and their deeper neuroscientific foundations influence economic decisions involving individuals and markets. They conduct economic experiments in the lab to elucidate brain behavior during decision making, strategizing, and market trading. Their research departs from previous theory in that it does not assume the mind to be a rational and perfect system, but rather focuses on the limitations of everyday people when they play actual games, and seeks to predict how they will behave in situations that involve strategy.
What's your vision?
We want to design an illustration that will describe in pictures what we call "The Golden Age of Social Science." The overall purpose of the graphic is to explain what the "The Golden Age of Social Science" is: an age in which there will be faster rates of progress in producing breakthrough social science research and solutions to human suffering. Three important points should appear on the graphic: 1) Interdisciplinarity: social science disciplines should work together. Communication is essential, and we need a lingua franca. Here are the social sciences: (a) Economics uses mathematics to analyze economic activity: how people make choices to get what they want. Economists make predictions based on preferences and beliefs, as well as statistics to test theories. (b) Psychology explores the rich web of cognitive and social mechanisms that generate individual beliefs and behaviors. (c) Anthropology studies cultural differences using ethnographic observation, unearthing physical details of human development, and exploring the co-evolution of culture and genes. (d) Political science studies systems of government, voting, juries, law, and a range of other situations in which people make consequential decisions collectively. (e) Sociology investigates how the social world is created by and influences how people think, feel, and act. 2) Big Issues: social scientists should answer questions that matter to humanity, such as drug addiction, climate change, violence, and health (including COVID-19). 3) New Data and Technology: research in the golden age should include innovative methodology and take advantage of technology, such as mobile phone usage, geographic information systems, fMRI, genetics, social media data, fitness tracker data, and street images. The graphic will be used for publications, presentations, and websites, so it should look professional. Feel free to be creative, as long as these three points are included. We also want the overall tone of the graphic to be one of excitement: new social science research will change the lives of people throughout the world! Also, I added above a good description of the project so you'd have an idea of what we want, but please do not feel obligated to add all the text above into the graphic.
Update: the contest is now "blind." One (bad) example of a similar infographic can be found here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41562-020-0884-z/figures/1 . Please note that we do not like this example's design because the color scheme is off, and many of the icons do not make sense with the content. However, the overall organization of the infographic is ok. Again, please feel free to be creative.
