We are looking for abstract pattern to be used on rectangular laser cut panels as a decorative element.
** Important guidelines are: **
.: Ratio approx 2.94 for 1.
.: Preliminary dimensions 1702mm wide x 578mm height
.: Pattern must be ''laser-cutting friendly'' no closed loop.
.: Rather oriented horizontally then vertically following the lenght.
.: Empty spaces minimum 15% to maximum 30% of total surface.
.: Minimum opening size 2mm and maximum 19mm. Long lines OK as long as they don't exceed 19mm width opening.
.: Closest possible distance from the edges: 3mm.
.: NO perforated pattern (small repeated holes, square, etc..) only lines or complex forms/shapes.
.: Would like for two identical panels to looks different on first sight if one put upside down (reversible pattern that shows something different: asymmetry)
.: Symmetry or quasi-symmetry not needed but good coverage on most of the surface would be. Pattern can be in ''clouds'' dispersed on the surface.
Please see images and photos attached for reference (most of them do NOT follow the guidelines above but can serve as aesthetic reference as what we're looking).
Many patterns possible but we're looking for something a little bit chaotic or ''false random'' in style. Very open to different styles: modern geometric lines to more organic curvy shapes or a mix of both. We're looking for something visually striking but not overwhelming and too complex. Important to keep in mind the 15%-30% opening surface (cutout) as most of the surface will stay solid.
Will provide as much feedback as possible. Please feel free to try many different directions at the beginning.
