debbnovograd got their new infographic by running a design contest:

Food & Drink
Story to tell in the infographic
We would like the graphic to at a glance identify to consumers the level of alcohol (<9% / 9 – 12% / 12%+ ) and the calorie content per glass within that wine bottle. We like to create instant awareness of the alcohol content in their selected bottle, and the calorie content. This information will be used to guide the consumer to make smart, well educated decisions. Initial thoughts included; - a red, yellow, green light approach however we don’t want suggest the consumer should not buy the “red light” option but rather they may want to think twice and consume the beverage with the awareness it is higher in alcohol and calories than other wines. - to use a circle or other shape where half represents the alcohol level possibly by use of a single color with varying degrees of darkness to represent the alcohol range while the other half states a Kcal/glass amount for that wine.
Data to include in the infographic
Less than 9% alcohol = lower alcohol 9% - 12% alcohol = Medium alcohol 12% and above alcohol = higher alcohol Kcals / glass (specific numbers to be identified by the wine producer)
Elements to include in the infographic
A visual display of alcohol levels A statement of Kcal per glass The website for additional information (www.THDA.com)
The visual needs to be easy to read and compatible to display on the front of a wine label
