Food & Drink
The purpose of this organization is a food & wine blog. The reason it's called wine tongue is because whenever you drink a lot of wine your tongue starts getting a deeper and deeper purple. This website will be a typical blog but a lot more edgy and inventive than any other wine blog out there that's typically boring and cut-throat. It will have high-end photos and be more hipster than straight forward strict. Again, it will be mostly about rating wine that we've personally drank ourselves and what the wines pair well with, and also on occasion (since we are both chefs) we will also post recipes of food that we cook and which wines it will pair well with. It will also have restaurant recommendations and where to buy the wines, to know if you're getting a good deal of if it's a total rip-off.
Other color requirements
I would probably stay along the lines of colors that you would associate wine with, so the colors of the bottles, the glasses, the labels, and the wine itself. Definitely more in the deep tones than anything light.
No other blog really exists like this yet, all the wine blogs you'll see now are super serious and the websites don't even have a logo, so you're on your own for creativity!! I will definitely be giving VERY detailed feedback though once the first couple of submissions are sent through, this way everyone can know more with what direction we will be going once I start seeing some inspiration. Try to just think of this as a wine blog that has to be a very clever logo that can be easily converted into an app logo, instagram profile picture, etc.
