widdi got their new logo design by running a design contest:
No Big Whoop! Bakery needs a big whoop of a logo!

The bakery that loves to make whoopie.
Food & Drink
I primarily make whoopie pies, which are basically little "cake sandwiches," but I also make other treats, focusing on ones that we remember as a child that might have been mass-produced at the time, but I give it a homemade touch, such as Twinkies and marshmallows. Although it seems my target would be children, my biggest customers are women btwn 25-40, who buy them for showers and other events. Plus my slogan is "the bakery that loves to make whoopie," so that pretty much targets adults ;)
Other color requirements
blue-green, brown, light green, pink
-Please don't make "No Big Whoop!" too small - a lot of the entries I've been getting have it really small and "Bakery" really big. This will have to go on a small package label and I need the customer to be able to see the name of the bakery clearly, thanks! -I wanted to avoid a picture of a whoopie pie because, well, it would look like a hamburger (from a side view) :) An abstract of a whoopie pie might work. Also, someone once suggested that I could turn one of the "O's" in "No Big Whoop" into a whoopie pie with a bite taken out of it. Just an idea, may not work. -I'd like something clean and easily recognizable - I have high hopes of this becoming something bigger someday and cluttery logos can sometimes come across as cheap, if that makes sense. -I think of the words "whimsical" and "retro" when I think of NBW Bakery. -Please put the slogan OUTSIDE the logo so I can use the logo without the slogan. -I'm not tied to the colors I listed, and I just put pink in there because it pretty much means "bakery" :) but we don't have to go there. -As far as shape, because of the length of the name and the way I would use the logo (on labels for packaging that will have more info below it), I see it more on a rectangular shape. What I'm drawn to in the samples below are probably the font styles more than anything. I'm also attaching pictures of the whoopie pies I make. I hope this helps! P.S. I will NOT be making cupcakes, so nothing about cupcakes please :)
