Den Raden did an awesome job, by far the best design amongst the rest of designers. Professional and thorough and great at taking feedback and responding quickly

Luphy is a good logo designer - with simple, clean designs - which should be ideal for most businesses. He's good to work with and I wish him every success.

We're re-branding from an existing brand.
I'd ask that you stay away from non-subtle gradients and other modern
design elements that don't reduce well (when used with fewer colors,
scaled to a smaller size, etc.). It's important that the logo be
immediately recognizable even when scaled down. This means that it's
important that "ACME" and "FILER" both be readable when scaled down as
much as possible and that the badge can stand by itself without the
text copy (when the logo will be scaled down so much that the copy
wouldn't be readable).
If you use any non-open-source fonts which require licensing, then
please stick to ones with reasonably economical licensing terms. A
fantastic design with a $5k font would be sad.
If you're able to provide a high-res layered PSD in addition to the
EPS/PDF on final delivery, then that'd be appreciated. No problem if
it's cost-prohibitive to you, though.
