SCN, Saskatchewan Communications Network. As the regional public educational broadcaster, SCN delivers programming that reflects the unique heritage and culture of Saskatchewan people and communities to audiences across Canada. As well, SCN’s satellite technology connects business, learners and communities to opportunities for professional development, education and training.Â
To rebrand the umbrella corporation of SCN in a way that it shares a common link with our recently rebranded broadcast division and incorporates our tagline: Connect, Create, Communicate. As well, it is important that the sun be an element within the logo. It is currently a part of our corporate and broadcast identity, and we hope to have it evolve in some way.Â
Another element that may help incorporate the broadcast division with the new corporate logo could be the flowing light trails used in our on air branding.

Things to Consider
- We have positioned ourselves as technology leaders with a state of the art, tapeless digital broadcasting system and an extensive satellite technology infrastructure.
- We connect people through three pillars of service: National Broadcast Network in Canada, Distance Education Network, and sales & marketing of satellite technology to enable internet/cellular over satellite, VOIP and wireless connectivity in rural and remote communities
- Geographically, Saskatchewan is a prairie province and is known for its vast horizons and remarkable sunsetsRequirements
All designs must be original. The selected graphic artist will be required to sign a Copyright Release at the conclusion of the contest. We will provide feedback during the contest.
Logo will ultimately need to be converted to vector format.
