BorderlandAg got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a badge style logo with a hip/retro/vintage classic feel for our bison and grain production farm & ranch!
Check out BorderlandAg's Logo design contest…
We are a fifth generation family owned and operated farm and ranch (originally established in 1882). We have basically 2 sides to our business; grain production (which includes soybeans, hemp, wheat, barley, canola, sunflowers, corn, and peas) and bison production for breeding and meat. We market our grain to agribusinesses and grain companies. We market our animals to other bison producers for quality breeding stock and also to markets around the world for natural, healthy bison meat. We are young producers who use the latest technology to run our farm and ranch. We are looking for a sort of trendy vintage/retro vibe that has a classic feel and wears well on a worn out ball cap, tshirt, jacket, vehicle, tractor, combine, etc.
Other color requirements
a simple color scheme that translates well on clothing and machinery/vehicles
We have been working with another company, but we just aren't satisfied with anything they are giving us. It's been a struggle as to how to incorporate the grain and bison together. (We can show you what we've got so far, if you'd like, but would rather see a fresh new creative approach rather than curbing your creativity) We don't want the typical old wheat farmer/ranch logos we've seen time and time again. We are young modern producers who use innovative technology in all aspects of our business and we want to convey this message. We'd like a professional, fresh, hip with perhaps a vintage/retro-y, not so literal vibe that will translate well onto a ball cap, t-shirt, jacket, facebook, company checks, company trucks, machinery, etc. and that we will be proud to wear, advertise, and to call our logo!
