Sara did an amazing job and came with a beautiful suggestion already early in the process. After some fine tuning we ended up with a great and easy to use logo 😊👍🏼
Fantastic artists and a great communicator. I hope we get to work together again soon.
The design by Dezak was different from the rest yet still captured the look and feel I had envisioned, plus more. It was a tough decision , but Dezak's uniqueness inched ahead.
How honus100 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our organization designs/manufactures the SOB (Special Ops Bunker). The SOB is a ballistic/bulletproof shield that provides head-to-toe defense against gunfire, especially from high velocity weapons like assault rifles, machine gun fire, and rifle grade weapons (see attached pdf files). The SOB is deployed when the special ops team is faced with an active shooter scenario.
Our target audience is tactical operators, SWAT teams, police, law enforcement, military, army, and security personnel.
Our mission is to protect the good guys from the bad guys.
We use only the highest quality weapons-grade materials in our products. The good guys feel completely confident standing behind the SOB because they know nothing can touch them, and that scares the hell out of the bad guys!

Logo types to explore

Our audience tends to be very masculine, raw, edgy, irreverent, rough, vulgar, etc. This audience appreciates a company/brand with shock value. The brand/logo must be very cool, something they would be proud to promote among their friends, wear on a hat or t-shirt.
A search on Google Images using keywords "tactical logo" should give you a good overview of the types of logos traditionally used in this market segment.
