Food & Drink
We are a husband and wife team of chocolatiers opening our first chocolate shop near Burlington, Vermont. Our roots are in the European chocolate tradition but expressed with a fresh interpretation. We feature varietal chocolates from around the world in our signature chocolate truffles made with fresh, organic Vermont cream. Our boxes are hand wrapped in Japanese art papers featuring the particular season. We keep our branding subtle so that the brand is not in the way of a gift giving experience. Our customers are women (or men buying for them) 35-65 yrs old that appreciate superb quality and freshness. They love to eat and buy local, supporting small businesses.
Logo types to explore
We want an understated symbol to be part of the design. Please do not use cursive font because the i / j combo reads 'you'. Bijou means "A small, dainty, usually ornamental piece of delicate workmanship; something delicate, elegant, or highly prized. (Like our handmade chocolates) Do more with less. Minimalist over flourish. We tend to use patterned paper on our boxes, so clear and simple appeals to us in a Logo. Please NO CACAO PODS. Prefer lower case fonts over caps.
