Create a logo for a cookie dough company

Food & Drink
I sell frozen cookie dough. The dough comes individually portioned so that all a person has to do is put the dough ball on a cookie sheet and bake. There are 12 dough balls in a single layer in a clear plastic container. The dimensions of the container are 9"x7.5"x2". The people who buy my cookies are busy families: 2 parents working with children living at home, and seniors who do not want to make cookies for themselves but want the home made taste. Upper middle class. These are people who like the though of home made cookies and are willing to pay more for a product that is made in small batches with fresh ingredients. This is a premium product that is being sold in boutique stores. So the logo has to look classy, unique, and suggest to the buyer that they are buying something special.
Other color requirements
I do not want a lot of different colours in the label. Colour is going to be used to distinguish between different cookie dough types. So the logo would be more neutral in colour (Browns.. for cookies???) Under the logo will be, for example, a red bar of colour with the words Chocolate Chip Cookie written in white. Oatmeal dough will have a yellow bar with Oatmeal Raisin written in white.
The logo has to be able to be used with different types of cookies...eg chocolate chip, oatmeal, gluten free. I am thinking that the different types of cookies would have a colour change in the name of the cookie...eg brown for chocolate chip, yellowish for oatmeal etc. So the logo itself should not be filled with colour Would like something in the logo that makes my product stand out.....so nothing too generic. It can be a recognizable image in the logo, but, like in the design inspiration sample of the bird or the pear, the image has something unique about it. The finished label will have cooking instructions on it as well which will take up space on the label.
