Who are you known as?

Ikou Inc. is a Canadian based furniture manufacturer. Our mission is to provide environmentally conscious, high quality, yet affordable products to our customers. Sustainability is becoming a top priority in our company. In addition to our current practices of using reclaimed wood and eco-friendly paints and finishes, we are investing in carbon offset programs, local manufacture, etc.
At the moment, we primarily focus on bathroom furniture. Ikou Inc. products are currently available both through specialty retailers and big box stores across Canada and the USA.
Key words to describe our products: stylish, high quality, good value, functional, affordable luxury
Target audience: Homeowners across Canada and the US. Our customers are generally double income working professionals with school going children, primarily women from the 30+ age group.

The “+” symbol that currently ties together our bathroom furniture brand logos originates from the Art Bathe logo, where it takes place of letter T and represents cold and hot water faucet handles. We would like to see a similar approach used in some of the designs, retaining the + is not necessary.
Ikou brand name will thrive on digital platforms and will primarily be used for the B2B / corporate, or in limited context to the consumers.
The objective of this exercise is to create a logo for the organization which will act as an umbrella for all our brands. In the future, the company will expand its focus to other furniture, kitchens, decor, etc. This will add additional brands under the umbrella.
We hope to create an emotional connection with and be relatable to our audience.
The logo should evoke a feeling of a high-end product, yet hint at sustainability.
Current logos use Gotham font.
