It's what's inside that counts
A book subscription service which people can buy as a gift for themselves or friends/family. Recipient will receive a new book for each month of the subscription period. Customers give information about recipients likes and dislikes and we tailor book choices to that. We are all about the fun and personable approach to book selection. We'd like a logo which reflects these traits, but is also simple and classy and which can be transferred to a shop. One idea we have is that the books will be specially wrapped in bright colours and we'd like the logo to be on a sticker which holds the wrapping together. Therefore, the logo will need to work on an array of coloured backgrounds. The above slogan does not need to be incorporated in all your design ideas. The 'MrG' portion of the logo needs to be the most clear and easy to read/recognise.
All other competitors appear to be old-fashioned, dull and don't seem to convey the enjoyment of reading that we would like to promote. Our tagline: "It's what's inside that counts" ties into our core value that reading for pleasure will develop the reader's character; make them question the world around; and, ultimately, help to make it a better place. Via the website, we will invite our customers to enter the world of MrG Books where they'll find choosing their next book or gift a fun and pleasurable experience. This is my personal twitter account: https://twitter.com/MrG_English We particularly like the G used in the profile picture. We really like the way this Instagram user has used black and white pictures with a touch of bright colour: https://www.instagram.com/p/BRvSA2JgfGx/?taken-by=oddhogg&hl=en
