BF Graphics was great. Small change to the original concept, that's it.
I don't think this happens often but the winner ended up being one of the first designs submitted. We knew right away that it was a great logo for our business. We liked the clean lines and the eye catching coordination of the design. We loved that the name of our restaurant popped. This design is versatile and ageless. The designer was good to work with and was quick to make the changes we requested. The designer was also willing to try some variations and didn't complain when we didn't keep them. All in all, a good experience with this designer.
qiudes was patient, professional, and quick with the customization requests - thank you!
How tonykowdc started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are opening a sports bar in Washington, DC named Walters, after Walter Johnson. Walter Johnson was a pitcher for the Washington Senators in the early 1900s. We are going with a retro theme, Edison bulbs, exposed brick, and black and white photos of old teams and players. We will also serve food and are looking to be a family friendly establishment, though not catering to children. We are not looking to incorporate any sports themed elements in our design or landmark elements. Our clientele will be mostly locals with growth potential due to close proximity to public transportation.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Bar & Nightclub
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues (Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.)
Dark neutrals (Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.)

We would like the logo to be reminiscent of the old Washington Senators font style. Nothing to flashy, basic, but not created with MS Word. We will have signage in front of building on our brick façade as well as on a large front window, we most likely be using a heavy duty sticker on the window. In the future we plan on incorporating apparel, if that makes a difference in creation. Looking for print, not cursive, based around the uniforms of the era (early 1900s)
