kimberlyelese got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a modern logo that embodies Happy Hermit.

Happy Hermit is a start-up candle company for the contemporary homebody. We make hand-poured candles, and at some point seek to grow into a home accessories company with more diverse products offerings. Our customer is 18-40, mostly women, middle-class city dwellers who visit farmer's markets on the weekends. Currently, with such candle names as “Cardio” and “Holiday Survival,” Happy Hermit is for someone who loves to feel indulged, and even slightly whimsical in her space; who values self-expression, a lack of conformity and creativity.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Let designers make suggestions: Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication. Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
I like the idea of a black or grey logo, but I am definitely open to the artists' interpretations. In terms of the imagery, the Hermit is actually a tarot trump that can often signify introspection and enlightenment, just two of the benefits of spending time surrounded by the comforts of home. It might be a cool idea (though it is not required) to tie in some of the tarot imagery to connect to the name and sensibility. Using pieces of the tarot imagery (ex. the Hermit's lantern), or using a new interpretation would be welcome as well!
