Food & Drink
Help make a dream come true by designing the logo for a future veteran-owned southern Minnesota winery and vineyard. We want our customers to see our logo, hear our name and know that they will experience a trip back in time when they come to visit our winery and drink our wine. When they visit Vintage Escapes Winery, they will be drinking delicious wine made from Minnesota-grown grapes while taking in the breathtaking view of a lake and the winery's on-site vineyard. Pulling up to the winery customers will see an old 30's pickup truck with wine barrels in the back. The tasting room and grounds will elegantly mix rustic speakeasy with glamorous Gatsby style. The décor will include vintage and antique items. All furniture and fixtures will either be antiques or will be made to look old. Rustic wood and brick will be brought together with sophisticated cushioned seating and accent pieces. The winery's location has a lot of great history behind it including being an old trade route as well as being the escape route of the Jesse James-Younger Gang. We would like to incorporate vintage and historical aspects around our brand and location grounds. Our target audience will be customers 21 and older with a fair amount of expendable income. We will eventually distribute to local liquor stores and Minnesota restaurants. We will also be hosting events anywhere from casual group gatherings to weddings and corporate events.
Other color requirements
Would like to see more designs with script or calligraphy type font. A picture is attached with a font idea. Also, would like to see different shaped designs....perhaps with the lantern somewhere other than the middle of the design. Please do not incorporate any wine glasses or grapes into the logo. Also, please do not incorporate spilled wine or wine drops into the logo. We are interested in an artistic design rather than a purely graphic design. The colors that we will be using for the majority of our print will be similar to The Federalist Wines - the brown/sepia tones. It's not a must, but if it fits into the design, we'd like to see an artistic/sketch-like graphic or photo of something vintage/antique. Ideas we had were either an old antique lantern or perhaps incorporating an Edison bulb. Attached is a picture of the style of lantern.
