Food & Drink
Online retail shop selling exotic and uncommon hard candies from around the world, specifically from Asia (Japan/Korea/China/Malaysia/Thailand). Our most popular offerings are coffee, coconut and ginger candies. Our target audience includes 80% women (and some 20% men) aged 25-44 and they enjoy snacks and foods from the countries listed above. They also tend to like tropical fruits such as mangoes, guavas. Their other interests some would enjoy include things such as anime, comic-con, cosplay but that is not a major emphasis point for our targeting criteria.
Our website is www.auntiekcandy.com -- We are looking to upgrade our site with a new theme which is why we'd like to get a new logo and style first. Please check out our story on the about us page -- https://www.auntiekcandy.com/pages/about-us We want the logo to be evident that it is a candy shop, but we don't want it to be too cartoony or cliche where it seems to pander to high school kids. Currently there are two pieces of artwork used on the site and throughout the internet. The existing word mark is a bit confusing with the lollipop and green K. The other logo doesn't really say who we are but our existing customers feedback is that they find it comforting that the anime/chibi drawing of my wife holding a lollipop signifies that there is a real person behind the business. Ideally we are looking for a logo that would convey some kind of similar trust and warm feeling, but also be clear that we sell candy. These are some competitors for reference: https://www.candywarehouse.com/ -- clear but looks to cliche with the giant candy wrapper. https://marimomarshmallowstore.com/ -- this is cute but the colors are way too bright and cartoony/childish.
