Design a crisp and authentic logo for The Chai Bar

For the love of Chai
Food & Drink
Chai is a major part of my Indian culture and traditions. When I came to the U.S., I struggled with the Chai I found because it didn’t taste like the Chai I grew up with. To me, Chai is made with fresh spices and healthy ingredients, unlike typical coffee shop Chai which is often made with corn syrup and imitation flavors. Thus, I started The Chai Bar to reintroduce America to Chai. We sell various Chai beverages and other Chai related products like spice blends, nut butters, etc., and are looking to grow with a storefront. Our target audience is working young professionals who are either familiar with Chai or looking to adopt a new beverage made with natural ingredients and labor of love. Please review www.mychaibar.com to learn more about our story! We are looking for a fresh new look as we aim to grow from a farmer's market darling to a physical storefront. Ideally, the new logo would incorporate our Indian roots (particularly the state of Maharashtra) without being a tired or tacky representation. One idea we have is to incorporate the Warli style of art into the logo design. However, we are open to interpretation.
I come from the west coast of India who deeply loves and admire the art, culture and traditions of the Shayadri mountains and Konkan region. Looking for a logo that resonates with me. Attaching a couple of images of art, my town and the beach. Get creative!

And then… they selected a winner!
The designer was good at taking instructions and understanding our needs initially but was a very late at responding after he won the contest. I really want give him 3.5 stars because of so delayed replies and finally not turning one edit the way we asked for it.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
