lpaul.writer got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a stylish logo for a hip catering co. that makes the competition look like last week's dinner

No slogan though would like to see the acronym done as a standalone MNMC
Food & Drink
Target market: busy families and young professionals in downtown Toronto (Ontario, Canada) - who value delicious, seasonally-inspired, home-cooked meals but don't have a lotta time to meal plan or cook, or don't have the cooking skills - but want to eat well at home! MNMC makes meals more meaningful! What we do: personalized culinary services including meal planning, in-house prep and cooking classes, prepared foods and event catering (kick-ass parties!). Owner is a classically French trained chef who also owns the hip icepopart.com
Logo types to explore
- I would def like to see a word mark (font is important! I come from the editorial world - maybe play with different weights or gradations of colour within the same font) option for whole name, plus acronym as standalone component please (MNMC). I'm getting too many emblematic logos, not enuf word marks. - Desired branding aesthetic: sophisticated with hint of hipster vibe, calming, with a barest hint of femininity - Logo should inspire sense of confidence, trust, familiarity and reliability rather than be overly dramatic or attention seeking - AVOID: corporate looking logos (think grocery stores, resto chains, car companies or banks etc), overtly masculine, sporty or aggressive logos, bubbly fonts, overly block-y fonts, fonts that are hard to read like calligraphy style; any kind of super cheese chef-related images (chef hats, plates, etc) - INCLUDE: vintage or hipster-ish fonts could work if not diner-style; a style that indicates this is an independent biz;
