Food & Drink
Nomwell is a mobile app that helps foodies remember restaurants they want to go to and have been to. They can rate restaurants and take notes on them, as well as send lists of restaurant recommendations to friends. The target audience is type-A, social foodies, likely to be age 21-35 professionals, perhaps a little on the hipster side. The title comes from the popular internet meme "nom-nom-nom."
Logo types to explore
This is for a mobile app, so having some part of the logo (or the logo itself) be transferable to a square icon is important. The name itself is likely too long for an app icon. I tend to like flat, simple and witty designs. I'm envisioning a script brand for Nomwell, but am not wedded to it. The voice of the app is a mix of classy yet quirky. I would like the logo to connote either dining out or enjoyment/eating well. Or both. (Proposals do *not* need to include a chef's hat, as many of them have. I have enjoyed the look of these, but I would love to see a variety of dining out-related or enjoyment-related ideas, like plates, silverware, platters, hearts, smiles, etc.) I'm including two concepts below. They are just examples of directions you could go in. Or you could go elsewhere! (By the way, I drew block letters because that's all I know to draw. Not on purpose.)
