Britt.young got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Grain & Salt Boutique Catering needs a new logo

Food & Drink
We are two sisters who own a catering company in upstate NY. We are rustic yet refined, feminine and focus on using local, fresh and organic foods. We develop custom events and menus and love to use materials like burlap & lace, distressed wood, wild flowers and vibrant colors. Its really important to have a logo that will translate into a stamp, as we plan on using a rubber stamp to brand bags, menus etc. The following link is to a font we really like - something similar would be appreciated! http://www.dafont.com/woodcut.font?text=grain+%26+Salt&fpp=50&psize=s
Logo types to explore
We took the image of the carrots ourselves (DSC01177) and would open to using something similar for the logo.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
