Food & Drink
Stewdent Revolution is a non-for-profit, university based product that offers delicious, slow-cooked (12-16 hours) stews, casseroles and similar to the campus community for takeaway. The range of takeaway meals are vacuum-packed for purchase and are offered at an affordable price. The products unique selling point is that all meals are slow-cooked for at least 12-16 hours, therefore allowing the campus community to enjoy delicious gourmet (high-effort) meals, conveniently and at an affordable price. Essentially - all the taste at no fuss. Students are the primary target audience, with the price and packaging developed with a student’s lifestyle in mind, with staff being the secondary target audience.
Logo types to explore
The design is to be quite simple, but edgy. A grungy, organic feel is preferable; however this is to be incorporated subtly as not to make the logo to masculine. The reference to ‘revolution’ in the product name must also be subtly incorporated into the logo. Nothing ‘extremist’ or ‘rebellious’ is to be used. The word ‘revolution’ simply refers to the shift in our mentality to cater for students need for convenience and affordability, i.e. relinquishing our old ways and giving the students what they want. The spelling of the word ‘Student’ as ‘Stewdant’ is also a playful reference the type of product on offer, i.e. stews, casseroles etc. The logo should highlight ‘Stew’ in the word ‘Stewdant’ to make the pun obvious to the audience.
