Food & Drink
We are in the business of producing high-quality, award-winning, fun & unique beers
Logo types to explore
What we do: We are in the business of producing high-quality, award-winning, fun & unique beers Target Audience: Both men and women aged 25-49 years old who appreciate drinking craft beers or exhibit characteristics of a foodie = “A person who has ardent or refined interest in food or beverages” Values / Emotions we want to associate with our logo: Unique, bold, friendly, different, collaborative, creative Stylistic preferences: Overall logo will be a combination-mark (wordmark + logomark) that finds a balance between abstract and simplicity. Ideally, we would like to have an image or recognizable abstract outline of a red envelope (or envelopes) with the name of our business below the text, to the left of the text, to the right of the text, or layered on top/or behind the logomark component in a fashionable way. We would prefer not having the text above the image of the envelope(s). Wordmark component: Traditional wordmark with a professional-style font (no cursive) that complements the logomark component. Logomark component: Logomark component should be a representation of a red envelope similar to those handed out during Chinese New Year’s celebrations. The examples below are to help you visualize what these envelopes look like. We are not looking for an exact copy of these photos. Example of red envelope #1: http://goo.gl/AugDHr Example of red envelope #2: http://goo.gl/ER9D66 Integration of traditional brewing ingredients (barley, hops, yeast, and/or water) into logo are welcome provided overall balance of abstract and simplicity is maintained. Color preferences: Wordmark component: Prefer the text to be any color but red or gold. Open to any color that complements the logomark component. Logomark component: This component will take on a traditional red color and may include a gold trim or highlight as needed. Example combination-mark logos that we like: Alaskan Brewing Co: http://goo.gl/U7PmRA Target: http://goo.gl/QxEVUS Adidas: http://goo.gl/gFsLe9 Pico Brew (no gradient): http://goo.gl/ueL3a2 Additional Information: We are not looking for the logo to represent a specific ethnicity or culture. We recognize that lucky envelopes may generally refer to Chinese culture and that 'lucky' and 'beer' may indicate we're pushing for an Irish theme. Neither is the case and all submissions should assume that we do not want to specifically try to identify with any culture.
