Food & Drink
The Iced Coffee Revolution is a blog based in San Francisco, CA that pontificates on locally-sourced iced coffee and all things tangentially related. We are two friends who aim to establish ourselves as an authority on the subject by means of having a good time, getting caffeinated, and writing about it. To get a better idea of what we're doing, check out the blog at icedcoffeerevolution.wordpress.com. We're also on Facebook and Twitter.
Logo types to explore
We are open to suggestions on the design elements. Our primary need is for the logo to fit well in a 250 pixel by 250 pixel space. We would also like to see it used in a horizontal-rectangular layout. Regarding the components of the name, there are many ways to go with "revolution." Essentially that portion of the name is meant to indicate positive change. Please do not consider communist imagery. "Iced coffee" is somewhat self-explanatory. Although we are based and partially-focused on San Francisco, we do not want to limit our audience, so unless argued persuasively, SF should not play into the design. The logo should reflect all or some of the following: fun, modern, bright, positive change (as in improvement), authority (as in high level of knowledge, resource). The target audience of the blog is varied. It could include anyone from soccer moms (i.e. 40-year old, conservative, suburban women) to hipsters (i.e. 30-year old, liberal, well-educated city dwellers). Do not include: communist imagery, SF imagery, violence, clenched fists
