Arylla is a product tagging company – we make it easy for fashion brands to give products a unique ID. We do that by printing invisible ink on labels, which are attached during manufacturing and used to track products through the supply chain. Our brand partners currently use the technology to identify counterfeits. They now want to use the technology to connect with consumers. The idea is for consumers to scan the label/ink with their phone to verify authenticity and access more information about the product (where it was made, etc).
We need a way to educate the consumer about the ink and how to scan it. To scan, they need to take a flash photo of the label with their phone. Here is the process:
1. Consumer enters URL into mobile browser (sends them to web app)
2. Consumer taps button on the web page that says “Scan”
3. Camera view on their phone pops up
4. Consumer takes a photo and taps “Use Photo”
*Our objective is to create a new logo for labels with our invisible ink that will act as a call to action – something that will tell the consumer they need to go to a web page and take a photo of the label to verify authenticity/access product information*.
The logo design can contain icon(s) and text. For example, you can insert phrases like “Take a photo” or “[URL]” (web app) – you have total freedom to experiment with different icons and text snippets. For example, one design we explored is a camera icon in the centre with the flash activated and the URL beneath it.
