Bellacorcoran got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo wanted for KitchenBella

Food & Drink
At first it will be a website blog incorporating youtube cooking videos where the host will be wearing modern style 1950s style dresses. It will have an Audrey Hepburn meets burlesque style appeal. Eventually the site will sell kitchen merchandise and gourmet food products where the art of the label will be just as important as the quality of the product. The target audience of the website will be foodies who appreciate high quality products and art centred around 1950s pin up, pop art, graffitti.
Logo types to explore
The artwork for the brand will be centred around modern 1950s pin up girl pop art so the logo needs to fit in with that but be simple enough to not detract from the artwork. I'm looking for a nice font with a creative icon. The logo needs to be sassy, sexy, smart and sophisticated. I'm thinking a simple black and white logo using negative space could be good but not entirely sure. The logo can use a feminine figure, be abstract or use the initials creatively or be something else entirely that I haven't thought of yet!!
