We are very pleased with the design and have already received many positive comments on it. The designer has been great to work with and was very attentive to our suggestions and request. Great Job!
Great design. Exactly what we were after. Designer had real understanding of our requirements.
Working with Kaytie is been easy right from the start. She understood exactly what I had in mind and was able to meet all my company's needs. She's been flexible, always available, friendly and also very fast to make the changes I've asked for. She gave me great ideas on how to use the logo on the website, T-shirts and leaflets. Thank you Kaytie for the great job, hope to work with you again soon!
Really appreciated working with this designer. She understood very quickly what kind of concept we were looking for and delivered a great product right off the bat. She was very prompt providing the minor changes we discussed throughout the process, which was helpful in being able to come decision that we were comfortable with in a short period of time.
Professional and innovative, Mzlaki took no time at all to whip us up exactly what we needed. Will definitely use her services again.

LettuceB1 is looking to build lifestyle brands around responsible parenting and stewardship of the earth. As you may have guessed by the low amount of prize money we are a small company for now but no one can match our enthusiasm and determination to be the best. Our company is built off the "Paul Newman" style of business: We are in the business of changing lives. Since 100% of our profits will go to charity we need to work harder then most companies because we aren't just working for ourselves, we are working for a cause. We are looking for a designer we can work with on logos for all the other products we will be promoting ( at this time we have about eight original products). Right now though we need the logo for the company done. This will set the pace for the company as a whole. Oddly enough it wasn't till I started filling out this contest form that i realized how the drawings i had done for the our logo tends to look a little like "google". Maybe that is my imagination but I will leave it in your capable hands to help me out with that. We are looking to become as big as "google' because we want to effect real change in the world and we can fulfill our mission with your help. If you are "in" please keep reading!
Now, how I envisioned this was eventually I would like to have animation for a website/ mini commercial etc. It starts out like image #1. As a little boy uses a watering can a girl bends down and hugs the lettuce. A heart forms and rises out of the lettuce and starts to flutter and becomes a bee. Image pans back a little and in image #2 giggles can be heard as children run and jump through a garden after the playful bee as butterflies, dragonflies and fluff float by. Camera follows the bee and it becomes a "B". #3 camera pans back from the "B" to show more children doing "stuff" and one child runs past them all holding a flag on a stick with the earth on it and plants it after the "B". As they follow her lead and run off camera past the flag it becomes a "1" and you can hear them shout "Yay"!
I tell you that because that is the ultimate goal of the image we are asking you to create. Since my "artistic" skills are nowhere near yours I have included close ups of the logo. On #4 from left to right the "L" is a book that you have a child swinging from and a girl jump roping next to. The pages are like a little hill that a child is somersaulting down and there is a little girl getting a piggyback ride behind a boy in a wheel chair as a dog walks with them. On the "e" a boy is cloud watching while a child climbs underneath him. There are two kids in a gunny sack race and a girl reading a book as she walks (she is based on my older daughter). There is an owl in the tree and a bunny at the base of it. A little girl pulls a toy hippo while a boy swings on the branch of the tree. In image #5 there is a boy pulling a little child in a wagon by the corn (they are based on my two sons) and a little girl comes up to a cat. Those dots on the ground are supposed to be flowers and the girl next to the "u" is holding a flower pot. There is a girl hopping over the huge pumpkin (who is based on my younger daughter) while two kids play paddy cake and a rooster is perched on the "e". #5 has the boy with the watering can jogging and a child calling to the baby to crawl to him. There is a boy on a bike riding toward the girl with the flag. All the animals i mentioned (except the cat and dog) come from names of products we will need logos for in the near future.
Have I given you a lot of detail?... lol. Yes, but I am flexible on most of it. I would like the logo to incorporate my children and a diversity of kids and activities but the way I have them is not written in stone. Have a better idea? I would love to see it. I am really going to need some professionals to step up here and answer some things for me. Is this sensory overload for a "final" logo? Should I have a less detail oriented logo for somethings and use this one for others? Will this translate well to something as small as a business card or stationary and as large as a shirt or sign? I love logos that make a "picture" from letters and I am looking for something fun and playful.
I have been so impressed by the large amount of talent that I have seen at 99designs.com when i have looked through the bounty of work already displayed. I hope you will be interested in working with us and remember how much we are truly pouring our heart and soul into this company so that we can make this a success.
