Site: e-M-e-m-o-r-i-a-l-s (without the dashes)
Tagline: A Place to Remember
In today’s world, the marker or traditional gravestone has become a flat one-dimensional portrayal and lacks a dynamic and contextual way to understand the life of the person that lies beneath that marker. Additionally, the model of our society has changed with the nuclear and dispersed family. The computer and the internet have become an integral part of the family process and, thereby, have broken down the barrier of acceptance of this medium. The internet has opened a new venue for this celebration of life to be etched in the ether with all the advantages of pictures and video. It’s fair to say that people are looking to leave snapshots of themselves for others to see and experience.
e-M-e-m-o-r-i-a-l-sâ„¢ (remove the dashes), first and foremost, is a memorial site that should feel respectable in style and feel to the average user, but yet allow the user a way celebrate the life of the deceased and utilize the site, in many respects, to go through the grieving process. The design, color scheme and layout should come off very professional, clean and tight. The use of colors is definitely encouraged and should give the visitor a sense of hope and inspiration. The logo should definitely include a graphical element and not just be letters. The use of web 2.0 techniques will be favored with the idea that there is a good sense of contrast and create a very clear brand identity.

Ignore the dialogue, but focus on the music and the scenery. We all forget, since we are living our lives, but life is meant to be a beautiful gift… so celebrating life, after it has passed, is also meant to be a gift.
