bjohnsonm got their new logo design by running a design contest:
National nonprofit seeks event logo design to be distributed across 42 states
Check out bjohnsonm's Logo design contest…
Our national nonprofit, which works to increase college completion rates in America, is hosting a summer summit for all of our state and regional partners - a group we refer to as the Alliance. In this summit, we want the Alliance members, now at 42 members, to be excited and to take ownership of the work we are collectively doing. We believe this is the beginning of a movement, and is a crucial moment in higher education reform. Our goal is that Alliance members leave the summit feeling inspired and ready to help the students in their states to graduate. Participants will receive a t-shirt with a design that should embody the energy and momentum of our work, especially as it relates to their efforts within this collective group - The Alliance - and as part of their state teams. Simply put - we're designing "The Alliance" logo. We are hoping this logo will lean toward graphical over typeface. Feel free to look at our website for a little more information about our work and the Alliance (http://completecollege.org/the-alliance-of-states/). This logo design will be used at the event and on the front of event t-shirts. In the past, we’ve used a logo with our organization logo in the middle and 21 stars around it to represent our original 21 state partners. The new logo can be similar but we welcome new ideas. We've also attached the image that will be featured on the back of the shirt, as well as the previous "Alliance logo."
