suzy.wholeliving got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Organic Grocery Chain needs a specialty stamp!

Food & Drink
This is a "section" of our organic grocery store www.elementsnaturalfoods.com... we find local people in the community that are food artisans, and we devote endcaps to their product. On each endcap is a sign with a wood background, and the "friends of elements" stamp will be on it, as well as their photo and story. We are taking "local" and making it truly local. Its about a connection to the person behind the product... and not the washing out of the term "local" that all grocery stores are using. We prefer a stamped look that we can alter the color of depending on the background. We are an organic grocery store chain... we use natural photos, and a lot of wood in our marketing. A logo that will fit nicely in a circle would be best. Something memorable. We are targeting "Locavores"... those people that are willing to pay more for an item because they see value in supporting up and coming brands and people. They value the quality within a small, hand-crafted batch of granola, a local roaster sourcing fair trade coffee beans from an organic farm, a local farmer that farms the land, harvests, and delivers the produce himself. Our target customer not only values quality, but also is an environmentalist concerned about sustainability, maybe a vegan, a trendsetter. One that is looking for new products and doesn't mind spending a little extra for it.
Other color requirements
One color logo please - we will need to change the color based on the background and use.
This is a brand inside of a brand. We are an organic grocery store trying to help the local artisans in our community get their name/product out there so they can grow as a company with us. We will put this stamp on a large wall in our store with a description "look for this stamp" style. The logo that you create will be the stamp on the stickers that go on the products, shelf talkers, end-cap signage, website, etc.
