Food & Drink
We're a brewery-in-planning; in Fall 2018 we'll open a microbrewery and taproom in Marin County, CA. Target audience = 25 - 65 yr olds; young families, adults with disposable income, people who value independent and locally-owned businesses, beer enthusiasts
Other color requirements
We'd like a black and white version and also want to use the following colors (or close to them) in the color version: Navy: #1A2363 Light blue: #69D7F9 Orange: #F97248 Beige/Pink: #F5E2D2
We worked with a friend to get our logo almost to where we want it to be. Please find the current version attached (filename: PFB Current Logo). The main thing we want updated is the barn - this feels a bit flimsy and we'd like the illustration to look a little more finished / sturdy. The barn is a rendering of an actual place - we've named our brewery after Pond Farm which was a workshop and artist residency in Sonoma County, CA. I've also attached a photograph of the "real" barn from which our existing sketch came from (filename: Pond Farm Barn). Please try to make the barn still look like the real building. I've also attached a couple of images which might help to guide you in how we'd like the barn to look (filenames: Barn Inspiration1 and Barn Inspiration 2). It's important that the barn looks good scaled up or down (don't want it to be too busy that it all blurs together when we shrink it to put on glassware, for example). We want any trees or mountains to still feel local, so redwood trees are a good option (our area in Marin County is known for its beautiful redwood forests) and there is one particularly iconic hill/mountain in our town called Mt. Tamalpais which has a cool silhouette. I'll attach an image (filename: Mt. Tamalpais). This isn't a must-have, but if you're doing designs with any kind of mountain I'd like it to be in the shape of or an outline of Mt. Tamalpais. We like the circle, the colors, the fonts, and the rest of the logo concept. The small circle with PFB was supposed to look like a stamp used on the bottom of pottery - we're not married to having this in the logo and are open to changing its design. I've attached a file which contains just the fonts used (filename: PFB Fonts) as we really like the one for Pond Farm and are pretty happy with the way Brewing Co. looks. Please also include "San Rafael, CA" in the logo as this is where we'll be located. I'm not opposed to having a few elements that tie back to beer, like hops or barley, incorporated in the design. Feel free to play around with that. Finally, I included a screenshot of how we adapted the logo on our website (pondfarmbrewing.com) - filename: PBF Logo Variation
