Remodeled market/deli needs a logo refresh

Food & Drink
Old logo attached for reference. We’re open to both approaches – first, a refresh of the old logo and second, new ideas from a blank canvas. The original building and site has been razed and in its place, we are constructing a new bldg which triples the size of the business and expands its services. In a rural area with limited options, we were, and will continue to be, a go-to food spot for whatever people need – open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days/wk & 365 days/yr – a “fast casual” takeout kitchen. We want to be a reasonable and approachable for the locals yet interesting and appealing to visiting vacationers from the ny metro area. Damark’s Deli is a landmark local business located in the summer beach resort town of East Hampton, New York. The owners are the third generation of the family business, established in 1949. The original store which was a deli open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offered prepared hot and cold food specials, gourmet salads such as lobster salad, coffee, espresso, chips/dips, cheeses, grocery items, soda, beer, juices, baked goods/pies/pastry, ice cream, smoothies, newspapers, lotto and cigarettes. Expansion will include a small interior seating area and increased hot food and cold food items and will also will add expanded gourmet salad selections; add brick oven pizza; introduce Asian cuisines to-go (sushi, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese); include an expanded espresso area; more shelving to display basic grocery needs; an expanded bread and pastry area; a fish/lobster and meat counter to pick up fresh uncooked items and self-serve grab-and-grill items; and, an increased selection of grab-n-go sandwiches/salads. While we will not be defining ourselves as a “health food” destination exclusively, we do want to be recognized as an establishment that is both health and environmentally conscious. We will be offering customers options that include organic/healthy prepared foods and groceries, fresh organic meats, fish and produce grocery items. All prepared food will be served with eco-friendly plates, cups and utensils.
