Be Social. Drink Coffee.
Food & Drink
This is a specialty small batch coffee company. Target audience is millennials & hipsters aged 18-34, both genders. The type of person who will take the time to grind their coffee, steep it on the stove and brew in a french press. They are very much into all things retro and vintage, particularly from their childhood: 1990's/Early 2000's. Authenticity is key with this audience.
Other color requirements
Will be printed directly on Brown Paper Packaging, keep in mind.
Though the examples are different and vary in styles, there are common things among them which I would like to convey: 1. Clean 2. Portrays a feeling of warmth/nostalgia 3. Tells a story 4. ORIGINAL At the home stretch for any new designers entering, simply get creative, take the ball and run with it. We are looking for something more minimal, hip/trendy and eye catching. NOT busy, but bold. Examples if you need inspiration, but get original! This could potentially lead into more work for our packaging so keep that in mind! A list of items hipsters love, use or are associated with to possibly include: French Press/Old Fashioned Coffee Maker, Vinyl Records, Record Players, Typewriters, Polaroid Cameras/Photos, VW Style Vans, Bicycles, Chuck Taylor Shoes, Flannel shirts, Oversized Glasses, Overalls, Bow Ties, Beards, Mustaches, Scarves, Things Written on a Chalk Board, Mason Jars, Succulents/Cactus (in a pot), Ukulele, Big Barrels, Anything Wood, Wood Itself...the list goes on. *if you make a dope logo that has nothing to do with any of this, you can still be in the running. I don't discriminate.

And then… they selected a winner!
Dmitry took a lateral approach to my logo designed that resulted in a modern, clean and impactful design that reflected the brand identity and brief. Highly recommended for his ability to take on feedback to improve the design and deliver results. I really enjoyed the process and I am glad that Dmitry decided to participate in my design competition.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
