customer11 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Tell a Story with an Engaging Logo for Dovanoti
Check out customer11's Logo design contest…
Dovanoti will be a blog (not yet launched) that offers an electronic catalogue of products and courses, and an academic journal (ala Autralasian Medical Journal). Our target is education, mainly teachers and students and university professors. Note that we do NOT want this to look like a typical education site. It needs to be classy, creative, and stand out.
Logo types to explore
The meaning of the company name might be helpful. Dovanoti is a Lithuanian word that translates to English as "handsel," meaning a gift given at the start of a venture for good luck. That is applicable to our purpose for this site and to our audience, getting them started on a journey to become who they want to become in their career ambitions. But please, do not let your design look like a common education logo. We are trying to steer away from that to create a distinct look and feel. Since my logo sample does not seem to want to upload for us, please see the logo at www.thestoryoftelling.com.
