Duskwalker got their new logo design by running a design contest:
$150 Virtual Museum Logo
Check out Duskwalker's Logo design contest…
Scarab Museum is an upcoming virtual museum and gallary on ancient artifacts. Its called Scarab Museum because a Scarab was the first piece added to the gallary which is quite extensive and currently mainly consists of Ancient Egyptian Artifacts. We need a logo for our upcoming site. The logo needs to be elegant enough to appear on our business cards, website logo, vehicles, and on publications such as books/magazines.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Not sure on colors. Maybe Golds, Blues/Purples? Desired Style: Professionally done. I am in need of a Logo for the Scarab Museum. This logo will represent our virtual museum as well as publications put out in the far future. The most obvious way to go is include a Scarab and the text "Scarab Museum". One idea is to have the scarab as the main image, and below that have Scarab Museum. Like previously mentioned the museum is mainly egyptian artifacts (though its always expanding) so maybe go with traditional egyptian colors. (Golds, Purples, Blues, Whites, etc). The logo needs to be elegant enough to appear on our business cards, website logo, vehicles, and on publications such as books/magazines. Be creative and ask as many questions as you like. Contest Ending date is the definate end, we may end early if we find a logo we especially like. But if that is the case we will give 36 hours notice so other designers have time to get in anything they've been working on. The winner will be expected to also give us the same design made for white as well as black backgrounds, and a black and white design.
