j.wicks1 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Wanting a logo that's based around our surname WICKS - wanting a W that everyone remembers!
Check out j.wicks1's Logo design contest…
From the ground up
My husband and myself teach horse riding. The logo doesn't have to include a horse in it, as sometimes this makes it look immature or child like. We want the logo to be based around the letter 'W'. Our surname is Wicks. So we want people to recognise our W and name WICKS over time. We want to put this logo on merchandise and clothes, so a big 'W' on a hat or front of a shirt or the word 'Team WICKS' on the back.
Other color requirements
Navy blue and white as main colours. Gold and red as minor colours.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
j.wicks1 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Arts n Farts has been amazing to work with! Very creative, clever, original designs. Excellent communication, went above and beyond in making our logo exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend this designer!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
