Lab4styx got their new logo design by running a design contest:
West Coast Primal Logo Challenge. Wellness Company seeks Original Logo Design
Check out Lab4styx's Logo design contest…
Holistic Health and wellness business to include education and consulting. Focused on an ancestral, traditional, whole foods approach and an active lifestyle. We hope to make a difference in people's lives by sharing our passion for holistic health, mind and body fitness, and nutritional awareness. Our company will be on the web and social network sites where it will generate awareness through articles and our food blog. We teach and base our wellness approach from a Paleo/Primal Template. We are located on the beautiful West Coast along the ocean in Monterey CA and have access to amazing real foods and outdoor activities. Hence where the name West Coast came from and Primal being our ancestral/cultural roots and nutritional approach with real foods. We would like an original logo that inspires and sets our company apart. We are not a One Trick Pony and will be needing further design assistance in the future. We would like to continue to use the same designer for our future projects.
Logo types to explore
Education was the closest description that was listed. We are a health and wellness company that will educate through consulting, workshops, and our website to include original recipes, fitness, and the latest evidence in regards to health and benefits of clean eating. We are open to the designers creative designs and these are only guidelines. We look forward to seeing your artistic expression. We have seen some interesting logos but have not found that one that just says "Primal" through its rendition. We have been hoping for more original designs, but it seems since this competition is open for all to view that it is hindering the original creative process by allowing others to take the direction of another designer’s rendition. This is not necessarily a bad thing but it limits the choices for us to choose from. Further it does not show your true talent and ability. We have requested to make this challenge a blind challenge and are waiting on a response back. Once this is completed we will also guarantee this challenge in hopes of attracting more talent and to assure you that we are serious about and value your time. We have been working hard to come up with stronger guidance to lead you in a successful direction and obtain the winning design. You will find some new logo designs in our brief that we thought might inspire you and show you the direction we want you to take. We searched hard to find something that says West Coast and inspires the Primal feeling.
