leigh.anne.leQ got their new logo & hosted website by running a design contest:
Tie Together Pigs, Patchwork and Petunias to Create a Funky, Fun Logo
Check out leigh.anne.leQ's Logo & hosted website contest…
I sell handmade modern quilts and one-of-a kind women's clothing and home accessories that incorporate vintage quilts and vintage fabrics. I also sell hand painted silk scarves and garments made from these scarves. My target audience is female, 21 - 70 years old, middle to high income, who enjoy owning unique, artistic, semi-vintage clothing (blouses, skirts, pants) and household accessories (decorative pillows, wall hangings, table runners/napkins). Target audience appreciates high quality fabric and workmanship. They understand the time and effort it takes to create a handmade, one of a kind item, and are willing to pay a higher price to get something unique. They have youthful outlook on life and a fun personality. Industry is actually fashion AND home furnishings.
I will also need a label (for clothing and household accessories), and a clothing tag - to include logo, price, etc. My thoughts regarding the logo: I considered a petunia flower made up of patchwork pieces of fabric in different bright colors. Another consideration was a patchwork quilt background with a clump of petunias in the foreground.. I have always loved pigs - so even a cute plump patchwork pig with a petunia in its mouth might be perfect.
I will need a 1 - Quilt Gallery section to display the quilts that I have for sale 2 - Clothing section to display clothing 3 - Household Accessories section to display household items Site needs to be set up for online sales At some point I may like to start a creative blog to talk about new finds of vintage textiles, new ideas, latest trends. It would be nice to have an area/calendar where I can list upcoming show or craft fair where I will be having a booth or pop-up show.
It all began with a design brief.
