WordPress Hub is an Apple Newsstand magazine that focuses on providing how to articles and interviews about the WordPress CMS platform. Being a digital magazine we are able to include streaming video and audio tutorials within the pages of the magazine. The subscribers of the magazine are primarily beginners and looking for help and advice on how to use WordPress and build and expand their blogs and websites with it.

I need a new cover and page layout template for the magazine design that I can make changes to each month without changing the core design i.e. The Title Word Mark. Because it is a Newsstand magazine the title really needs to pop and stand out because when people are browsing the magazines they only get to see a small thumbnail size cover and this really needs to grab their attention. I also want a magazine template for the layout of the content in the magazine including a table of contents page, and actual layouts for articles content. I want you to feel free to be very creative while keeping in mind it is a magazine about WordPress CMS. I have created a video screen cam showing examples plus provided current designs of the magazine and example from other Newsstand magazines I like more from a quality perspective. I construct the magazine in Apples Keynote application and while this seems like a strange choice I use it because its quick, easy and seems to output very high quality PDF files of the magazine issues which I use to upload to the magazines application platform for publishing. If you don't have Keynote or don't know how to use it you can send me the final designs in Adobe InDesign but I would prefer Keynote if possible. I will show you how I do it in the attached videos so to give you a better understanding of how I produce each issue. Also find attached some example of designs I like that are from existing Newsstand magazines and also some of my existing cover designs I have done for previous issues which don't quite hit the mark for me.
