brian ZR got their new merchandise by running a design contest:
Gun Enthusiast Decor - Home is where the HEAT is!

We are a small Texas based company that sells novelty home decor.
What's your vision?
Looking for merchandising artwork with the words "Home is where the HEAT is", for use with cheeky gifts aimed at gun enthusiasts, Western themed decor, and man-caves. The idea is similar to the "We Don't Dial 911" home and yard decor idea. Possible applications include door mats, mugs/coasters, tin signs, wooden wall plaques, indoor rugs, gun safes, etc. The powerpoint attached was just a brief effort at a concept. Do not feel constrained by it, however. And I do not own the revolver artwork, so please do not use it. Also attached are some related product pictures that fairly closely approximate both the themes and design goals. Our intent is to have something that is fun but tasteful. The target demographic is gift buyers for male relations. Therefore the design mantra is: something a husband would appreciate, and a wife would allow in her home. Something that plays up to the "heart" of the original phrase is probably a bonus if it can be done well. For example, perhaps the "heat" in the shape of a heart. Or the revolver imagery in the shape of a heart. However, these are not necessary if it does not fit well. It must be simple and cannot have intricate details as it will likely be printed on imperfect mediums like coir mats, and intricate details will be lost. Also please no bullet holes, spatter or anything that is suggestive of violence. Please limit designs to 2 to 3 colors. Likely black and red, but other color ideas are welcome. We may also consider buying more than 1 design to use in product split testing. Thank you!
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Merchandise starts at €179.
