What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a poster (also to be used as DVD box art) for our current documentary "Cardboard" about the panhandlers of Seattle Washington. This film tells the story of nine panhandlers around Seattle as well as teaching the audience what people should know about panhandlers and the homeless population in general. This film covers a broad range of topics from personal stories, how you should handle being solicited, misconceptions about panhandling, and even speaks with Mayor Mike McGinn and other politicians about the legal aspects of homelessness and panhandling.
It's important that you do not share the rough cut screener.
Poster needs to be approximately 27" by 40" and I realize the attached photos (which you may choose to use or not) may not reach that resolution but aim for that. I will leave the design open to your interpretation of the videos I've mentioned but maybe explore some of these: http://pinterest.com/docgeeks/docum…m-posters/ and just think: simple, yet thought provoking.
As for text, the title "Cardboard" needs to be featured and the tagline "The story behind the signs of panhandlers in Seattle" somewhere in the design. Also, "A film by Matt Longmire"
